Okay, so you've seen a rather rare attempt of translating Japanese fanfics into English. How did they look to you folks out there?
If you like them please do me a favor and send a word to Seiru. He'd love to hear opinions from international readers.
I found that the original Kanon game (and key's products in general) weren't as popular as I expected, despite the fact that adopted animation series had considerable amount of attention. Japanese dating-sim games rarely get translated and sold internationally. Maybe one day games like Kanon and Air get released overseas (translated by experienced hands, of course) and then the stories here would have some more relevant readers.
Except for the Kanna-sama's PC diary I don't have any fanfics in mind to work on. If there are any requests, I'll see what I can do. I hear Fate animation will be sold overseas, hopefully that would set some momentum.
As for the translation......yeah I know, it looks like essay homework in elementary school. As a literature it needs drastic improvement, but then I don't know where to turn to. More reading, more vocabs......here in Japan? *groan*
I'd hear anyone's advice on this. Seriously.
